By the way, what in WhizzBang is "Juneteenth"?

Federal Troops arrived in Galveston Texas on June 19, 1865 for the expressed purpose of freeing the enslaved people. Slavery in Texas had continued on as if Lee hadn't surrendered. "Juneteenth" has become a celebration of actual freedom for African-Americans.

Juneteeth is also our newest federal holiday, and I get the day off, so I love it for more than the just the slaves being freed.
Three day weekend at the end of May, three day weekend in the middle of June, three day weekend at the beginning of July. It's all good. Plus the free slaves!
