So the UK has to re-do all its money...
And the first thing I thought was... mid-2024? The man's not young. He could definitely die by then. Chuck bucks would then have to be replaced with Will bills, potentially without ever having been circulated, and would become instant collector's items.

Why do they have to change all the money, can't they change as the plates wear out?
Will they say here's a new 50 pound king note that means the queen notes are null and void or just let be replaced as they wear out? Maybe they should just switch to Euros.

The old ones will keep getting used until they wear out, it will be a long time before they're all out of regular circulation.

Yes, this.
All our currency right now has QEII on because of the switch to decimal in her reign (1970s).
Before that I remember that pennies and shillings had different royal heads on - some of the kings that preceded Liz2. The first coin with C3 on will be a 50p piece, apparently.
