    The first Automobile Race in the US in 1895 was sponsored by the Chicago Times-Herald.
    The subject was so new they didn't have a name for it so they settled on Moto Cycle Race.
    Two contestants were arrested trying to enter the city to get to the start and made to hire horse to tow them.

    Oh, and everyone cheated... no, not cheated per se, I mean broke the rules.

     Freedom is just another word for nothin' left to lose.
