Has anyone else here noticed that if you register on more than one board at boardhost.com, you'll get the option to have a combined post count for the website? You must have registered on multiple boards using the exact same username and email address. You must not have already started a post count on one board before registering on other boards you want the option to include.
It seems that only the Posts (count), Last post (date & time), and Last online (date) information are affected by this option in the user profile. The Show all posts; also, all Search functions are still only board specific. I guess that makes sense since members on one board probably don't want to have to wade through a user's posts made on other boards to find what they're looking for when during a search.
I suppose this has been more of an FYI thing for those who didn't already know.

No, but I have now. Interesting first post here, what was your one post on the other board?

Is the post count important?

Maybe, if it's a way of getting round a minimum post count before you can do something on this board?

Surely that couldn't be the motivation?

If you click on "Rules" in the toolbar at the top of the page, you'll find there's some Cellar history there. An excerpt:
By mid-2020, both the Cellar and the world at large had become polarized and argumentative. Though old friends still stopped by to visit every once in awhile, the core group of regular posters was down to no more than 30 members, and Undertoad felt too burnt out to continue the considerable labor of hosting and moderating the community he had selflessly served for more than three decades. In October, he announced that the current iteration of the Cellar would be shutting down by the end of the year. By joint agreement, the remaining members migrated en masse to a new home on a third-party hosting platform called Boardhost, under the nominal administration of me (Clodfobble.)

Aw thank you

One of 'Toads friends joined and we did what we do with new members and treated them like shit, gave them even more shit when they kept going on about absurd homeopathic remedies (rapeseed cures everything, y'know. EVERYTHING!), until Toad shut things down. It was his, he could do that, and he did. Then, he sucked Elon's dick, hard, and began denying every opinion about electric cars, politics, and anything else that didn't jibe with the way he thought ppl should be thinking. And stayed with it. I actually kinda admired his tenacity in that regard. He was/is vehement that he and Elon are saving the planet, and became increasingly upset that not enough of us were grateful enough for their efforts. And then there was his refusal to accept anybody's political beliefs/opinions, that weren't his own, and refused to believe that anyone could even have political beliefs/opinion that were not his own.
If he wasn't so emotional about it all, I woulda thought he was TW's sockpuppet.

Top 10 List... too soon?
Top 10 reasons the Undertoad account is gone:
#10. The old UT never actually migrated to Boardhost; so, tw created a UT sockpuppet to argue with and finally got tired of it.
#9. After having the Tesla Flux Capacitor (lawsuit pending) installed on his car, UT went back in time and changed the present.
#8. Only UT can now see his posts after a Boardhost "Sent to Coventry" experiment went horribly wrong.
#7. UT wanted to experience what it's like on the other side: "I see banned people."
#6. "There's no place like Twitter, there's no place like Twitter, there's no place like twitter" said while clicking heels together three times.
#5. The lack of porn became a deal breaker.
#4. SHOCK AND AWE! (well, at least shits and grins) MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
#3. [420]Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Deleting the account seemed like a good idea at the time.[/420]
#2. UT's wife thought he was spending too much time obsessing over the Cellar and deleted his account.
And the #1 reason the Undertoad account is gone...
#1. UT's car thought he was spending too much time obsessing over his wife and the Cellar so its AI deleted the account... and his car abducted him!

I wouldn't be surprised none, some, at all if it had something to do with his car, y'know, The Mighty Tesla.
It caught fire, it stopped dead in the middle of the road and is gonna cost $40,000 to fix, or it can't be fixed, or he sent Elon a picture of his junk and Elon laughed.
I don't know how he got a pic of Elon's junk...

I worked so hard. And ended up in last place.

Griff mentioned that in IOTD.
It's happened before this way. All of the Postimages.org images, new and old, are reduced to their URLs. New images uploaded to Postimages show up during the post preview; but, not in the final post. That would seem to indicate that Postimages is working; but, the Boardhost.com interface is not. Images from sources other than Postimages still appear though. Go figure.
We'll probably just have to wait it out again. Hopefully someone in the Cellar administration reports it. Any member can submit a support request though (if they think it might speed things up) @ Contact Us

@ 8:05 p.m. ET some of the images were returning, some were not. Looks like they're working on it though.

For me, the sign in page is about six pages of gobble-dee-gook. Been like that for a few days.

I'm just seeing all of this--everything's working for me, is it still broken for anyone?

Looks better to me now, but I didn't poke around a lot to check everything.

Sign in page is still Klingon. For me.

The boxes for user name and password are there way down the page, but when I sign in, in another tab, I get a 'page not found', I then go back to my original tab, refresh, and I'm in, then I close the tab I (tried to) sign in on.
