A nursery in Denmark, Baugaarden, specializes in weaving willows as they grow.
They do this in the ground and large pots to create a ton of interesting patterns and shapes.
Some are tied together until they fuse, others are trained on a steel framework.
If planted in the ground they can handle pretty severe winters, but in pots have to be protected.

Apparently after the initial creation there isn’t a lot of maintenance, but it’s a long range hobby.
