NFL 'apologizes' over Super Bowl half time show snub as Kendrick Lamar performance is slammedThe NFL sent a letter of apology to Lil Wayne after choosing Kendrick Lamar over the New Orleans rapper for the Super Bowl halftime show.Lil Wayne was denied the chance to headline this year's halftime show in New Orleans, a move which sparked outrage given his famous association with the Big Easy - where he was born and raised.
And to add to the controversy, Kendrick's performance at the Superdome was heavily criticized by viewers who were left underwhelmed on Sunday night.Granted I don't generally like halftime shows, but that was one of the better ones I've seen. Maybe they're upset that he called out the pedophiles and other ner' do wells? I could have done without the Trump hype train what with us being in the heat of a Constitutional crisis. I imagine Murdock is pretty excited though.

I love both music and poetry but find no enjoyment in rap.

So, "NFL apologizes" appears in headlines, but they're not apologizing for the thing that people are complaining about. lol

I saw the halftime show. I'm not familiar with Kendrick's music and couldn't hear his words, but I enjoyed the dancing greatly. I had a fun time trying to figure out what the car was. I had a similar one and was pretty sure it was an '80s Buick like my first car, but a different model.
It wasn't until the next day that I realized a couple of the funky tight camera angles were to avoid showing the protester who ran onto the field and jumped on the car.
