Death by a thousand cuts

It's so tiresome to keep up with the deluge that every single media outlet has basically conceded that they will refer to 'DOGE' as a cabinet level executive department. That's not how the Constitution works, you can't just create one of those out of thin air, as a couple of nerds mentioned for a few days in the beginning, but then everybody just gave up.

Re: Death by a thousand cuts

It's weird watching the press sort themselves out. NPR and the AP are hanging in there. WaPo appears to have capitulated, maybe the Times as well. The heavy hitters are Wired and Rolling Stone (wow). It makes sense as RS knows culture and has been working the right wing extremist beat for a while. Wired knows technology and apparently has massive balls.

Just remember.  It is what we all voted for.  Does not matter what you did.  What only matters is what WE did.

So that sanity will return, well, we have not yet seen anything get bad enough.  Things must get at least 10 times worse before "We All" will finally appreciate what we voted for.

All this was well predicted and obvious   Project 2025.  Give them credit.  They did not lie.
