Incurably Romantic or Scarily Stalky?

BBC :  Man who has never used a water scooter before buys one and travels 4.5 hours on it from Scotland to the Isle of Man and then walks 15 miles to see his girlfriend.  He was trying to get around the Isle of Man's COVID restrictions which prevent visitors to the Isle.  (He got jailed).

I'm not sure if I'd be touched or terrified if someone went to those lengths to see me, especially someone I only met 3 months ago for a brief time (they met when he was on the island for 4 weeks in September)

I always want to call those Sea-Doo things "Wet Jets".  From the story I couldn't immediately tell if it was a Jet Ski or one of those little hand held things, but I think/assume/hope the former

Re: Incurably Romantic or Scarily Stalky?

Sundae's signature read There is no amount of punishment a man will endure in search of Punani. Or something like that. At least I think it was Sundae.

Best term I ever heard was "boatercycle."

It's Dana's signature, a quote from Sundae.

There's only so much punishment a man can take in pursuit of punani. - Sundae

Re: Incurably Romantic or Scarily Stalky?

Not sure if the YouTube html still works.

It's funny how many things that were considered cute or romantic  back in the day take on a stalkerish or creepy feeling these days.

Yeah - so many romantic movies of my youth now seem like stalker guides
