Makes sense. The production of goods went to Asia over the last 23 years of this chart, but services stayed local.

People moved from those production jobs to shitty service work and for the first time have a little economic clout. They need to squeeze this orange while they have a chance.

Only 2 states had nobody arrested. Doesn't mean not involved just not caught.
The power of the internet to organize little splinters into a large pain in the ass.

Who is nice, most helpful. Slightly misleading because of the requirements of being a big metro first.

I am torn about the demise of Meta. I hate FB, and am loving seeing them go down, but at the same time, I have 2 different friends who work for Meta, and they are just waiting for the day thier login doesn't work, and that's how they will know if they have been axed. Morale is kind of low. How are you going to be excited by your tasks if you have no idea if you'll be there in a few weeks or months.

I still do not understand what meta was suppose to be. It remains so much like bitcoin. It is new so it must be better?

Just as a public service announcement, the Baby Name Wizard, which was the amazing website that graphed the popularity of baby names over time, was sold, and the new owners shut the site down in 2021. It is dead. for details see:
However, I have good news, The creator of Baby Name Wizard revived the interactive chart after the new owners abandoned it, and has relocated it at Namerology Name Grapher
I've bookmarked this, because it took me a while to find it. There are lots of shitty name sites out there. Lots.
Check out "Susan."

He could have sure helped the deficit being honest but that wouldn't have been any fun.
It's certainly not about the money but the game.
He doesn't fear the torches and pitchforks because he's supplied them.

Working spouses vs nonworking spouses. In the past it would have been working wives vs nonworking wives.
You know when the man go to work and the wife doesn't work, just stays home cleaning the house, doing laundry fixing meals, washing the dog, raising the kids, buying the groceries and carting them home and putting them away, planing schedules for the kids music/dance lessons, and tutoring when necessary. Might even do the budget planning and keep the books and bank accounts straight. But that's not always the case any more, she may be the one earning the living or co-breadwinner, plus all that other stuff.. That's one of the shifts in society.

How much do truck drivers make?
The first 4 months of 2023, 31,278 trucking companies shut down or shifted their services to larger fleets.
24,806 were one truck outfits who jumped in for the high spot rates from July 2020 to first quarter 2022.
But March ’23 there were still 410,602 authorized for-hire interstate truck fleets.
Historically 85 to 90% on new truck companies fail.
Both Father Truckers and Mother Truckers.

This is a weird one, units aren't labeled or how it came about. Or who did it.
I suspect some subjective guessing and a dartboard my be involved.
But just for fun...
