    i want to debate but NOT LIKE THAT

    it's the kind where you have to agree that the foundations of my premise are hard-coded in the fabric of reality, and responses are only accepted in the form of you admitting that your views don't make sense

    that ain't debate

    debate is where debaters lay their views on the table and tussle...you know, the way I do and you don't

    you, and a few others here, don't wanna debate...you just wanna dissect without exposin' your own views to dissection (mebbe cuz your views are just, as my good friend tw might say, emotion?)
