Not golddiggers, women who have had a large impact on the design of our furniture, cars, buildings, and everything else we touch. core77 site has compiled a list of some of them. None has received much recognition because someone else with higher status took credit like a project leader. Also some were married to more famous designers and their work was miscredited to him by the press.

One example was Ray Eames, married to the very famous Charles Eames.
