Re: History and the people who made it.

Shades of Lancelot and Cinderella.
Having a name placard all ready on the big day sort of weakens the story.

Re: History and the people who made it.

That's prolly not 'the big day' pictured...

Right, I highly doubt it is that day.
This one probably is though...

Now Paul Revere's famous ride to warn the minutemen the shit was coming to the fan was a freebie.
But riding around telling everyone after the shit hit the fan he submitted a bill for.

Re: History and the people who made it.

Paul Revere post is too small to read any part of.

Re: History and the people who made it.

You can't read the printing under the picture?
The black on white not the printing in the picture.

Re: History and the people who made it.

The cursive is difficult to see clearly, but the text underneath is crisp as a dried up cicada shell on my front steps.

It's cool that Paul Revere was made whole.

Re: History and the people who made it.

The added text is also too small to read easily.
I can't think of any other webpage I visit where zoom or magnification is not available.
That includes the old Cellar.
Not a fatal flaw, but a big PITA

Re: History and the people who made it.

It's way too small for me.  I run FF at 170% text size here.   But that doesn't help the pic, I set it to only enlarge text, not pics.  The Windows Magnifier at 200% makes that pic's added text readable, but just barely.

YMMV

Re: History and the people who made it.

Hmm, the image is 10 inches wide and 9 inches high. The black on white printing at the bottom is 12 which is a little smaller than normal here but should be readable.

Baddaboom.....BIG Baddaboom

Re: History and the people who made it.

That is easy to read.
Can you re-post Paul Revere with that technique?

Re: History and the people who made it.

The Revere image is only about 7.5" wide, and roughly three-fourths as tall, on my monitor.

The text about ol' Vince is fine on mine, too.

Post them however is easiest for you, it's only a couple clicks to go bigger.  For me, anyway.

Re: History and the people who made it.

The Paul Revere image I posted is 10 inches wide and it comes up about 9½ on my 24" screen.

I assume a pretty thin population helps keep the count down.

Yes crocs are the worst, anyone seen wearing them should be shot on sight.

Re: History and the people who made it.

Links just go to website, no pic.
To get the pic I have to right click on image, go to "properties," highlight addy, copy and paste to Chrome (ME does not open.
This BS needs to be fixed.

Jim, when you scroll down to (open) post 19 you're seeing the link to the monkey (postimage) instead of the picture?

Are you right clicking on a link? If so why?
Copy and paste to chrome? What browser are you using.
I'm really confused.
