I read something to day about George Washington and in the comments someone was ranting about George having 300 slaves that made him rich & comfy. Yes he did, many of which belonged to Martha and were freed on her death. However don't forget at the time it was legal and socially acceptable. Plus don't overlook the fact he laid rich & comfy on the line for this country. Had the Redcoats got their hands on him rich & comfy would be history.
So did this guy.
