    What's more current than the weather

    This is my favorite time of year.

    We had friends over for the first time since the pandemic last night.  They live down the street.  They brought a bottle of wine and their own glasses, and my wife and I split a bottle, and we sat outside around our firepit.  Just over 6 feet away from each other.  Beautiful clear cool fall night staring into the flames and enjoying the warmth of the fire, which I kept going pretty hot for hours.  I love the Fall, and we can probably do this again for at least 6 more weeks before it gets too cold.
