Politics isn't funny anymore. We're post-truth, post-shame, post-irony, and we're barrelling full-speed ahead into an unlivable world within our children's lifetimes. Our Venn diagram contains voting-bloc sized chunks of Americans who don't possess an ounce of human empathy, whole cultural bastions based upon not believing science, a nation-wide entrenched power structure that is aggressively anti-democracy, and to top it off-- there isn't anybody to vote for who will actually present a counter position to any of it. Idiocracy was supposed to take 500 years, but it happened in 10.

6 January took all the fun out of it. Nazis and their supporters do not know what humor is. Hell. They do not even know what a tourist is suppose to do.

Funny (as in strange) is how people in states, where extremist is rampant, do not even have enough common sense to get vacinnated. Is that humorous (do we mock their inability to think logically)? Or is that just sad?
