I just recently watched the Roger Waters production of The Wall at Berlin in 1991, and I'll be danged but that's Bryan Adams absolutely nailing Gilmour's vocal parts. Also, among many other featured artists, the entire lineup of The Scorpions is trucked in on a flatbed to perform as "the surrogate band' during Pink's descent into fascist-themed dementia.

"Dementia." That's a very good word for it. I was actually thinking yesterday, of all things, about how I would describe the plot of the Wall to somebody, and was thinking of that bit of it as "fantasy" or "dreaming" but "dementia" is spot on.
