hmmm..... There are so few streets here that don't conform to the grid system -that may need to be freestyle on a soccer field somewhere, if they ever dry out enough

I was really pleased with the Halloween set-up in the end -BajaBoi lent me his car as a prop (to allow height for the candy chute initially, but then we extrapolated wildly and it became a feature....) and then really got into it including one of his bikes as well and setting up some cool things..... I will post pics another day. I'm pooped. If anyone who's on facebook and saw it wants to pre-empt me, feel free :D
Got about 30 candy-seeking visitors. Norm is 100-200, this was a bit chilly but dry so would have been on the higher end if not for.........
but plenty of people slowed down, honked, took pics as they passed, so I think the neighborhood enjoyed it

I don't know what kind of spooky Rube Goldberg machine you pulled off but it sounds awesome! We turned off the porch light and watched Beetlejuice with the kids--happy to report that it holds up very well!

no Rube about it. long tubes from on top of an SUV. probably coulda done with a tad more engineering -turns out they propelled the candy at the kids a little faster and more scattered than in the test run..... make 'em work for it, I say
