Cute but no, 25 mph won't cut it military, especially for dispatch riders.
Looks too heavy to carry if you get in a jam.
That guy reminds me of a singer, country I think, but I can't put my finger on it... might be an actor though.

That's a good goal to strive for.
Not strictly necessary for function but a source of great pride for the welder and the buyer.
Looks like stainless so highly unlikely to get chromed but still the danger of someone trying to polish them.
Sigh.... whoever owns them can do what they want, and I'll defend, to minor discomfort, that right.
