Did those advertising campaigns reflect the public perception, reinforce it, or create it?
Obviously this wouldn't fly today but it did in1930, 60 years after the Civil War, 93 years ago.
RCA made the same radio under licence, even the same model numbers, I wonder if they used the same ads?
