We had an Avocado Tree in our back yard when I was a kid. I loved them then, and I love them now.

Avocado.

But seriously, it's hard to describe... it's not a strong flavor, so my first thought is maybe I mostly enjoy the consistency/texture. But I also like guacamole, so there is something to the flavor as well.

Near LA, we had 4 or 5 trees, 3 different varieties. I sold them for 5 cents each at a nearby grocery.
In those days ('50's) the seed didn't take up the whole fruit.
