nah it's a biscuit. They look like scones but don't taste like them or have the right texture, sadly. Not a fan, although I am assured the further south you go the better they get.
Scones here are fairly grim too, imo, and less like real scones than biscuits, but ya know, horses for courses... if everything looked, tasted and was named the same, there would be less amusement in my life!
