The way back from the wilderness

I have this visualization in my head of moderate Republicans moving into the Democratic Party making it more solidly center right. It's not a terrible place to be but then we have homeless populists on the left and right and a fair amount of liberal discontent within the party. Right now the GOP politicians are doubling down on the felon but that would seem to be a short game. Interesting times.

Every scenario that is feasible has a ruling party that is moving to the Right.

The biggest lie they ever told us was that the most popular politician in the country wasn't a good candidate because his policies, which by a line item analysis were what most people actually wanted, were too far Left, and for some reason, that's just bad.

"sOciLiSm nEvEr wOrkS" squawcks the client media of the people who are benefiting from the largest redistribution of wealth in history.
