Who

would you be?  if you wanted to be anonymous or you couldn't be you because your real name was already copyrighted by someone else so you had to use a pseudonym for your amazing achievements......

2. if you were a recording artist
3. If you were a pub singer
4. If you were a drag queen
5. If you were a Shakespearian actor
6. If you were driving a race car
7.If you were a gymnast

11. If you were a Private Investigator
12. If you were a stripper or porn star
13. If you were a TV doctor
14. If you were a god
15. If you were a superhero

Re: Who

Regardless of what I was, my replacement name choices are Rusty Shackleford and/or Lance Manion.

Extra points if you can name the sources of those references.

Not only did I spell his name wrong, I confused him with a small town in Leicestershire.

Melton Mowbray

I think, with a name like Chalfont St Giles, a knighthood must be just around the corner. Or a peerage.
ETA I've just thought (it happens occasionally) there was already a Lord Chalfont so a peerage is out of the question.

Re: Who

Can there be a Lord Chalfont Jr, or Lord Chalfont the lesser, maybe Lord Chalfont II, or Lord Chalfontish?

I think in Lord Chalfont's case it was a Life Peerage, in which case the title dies with the holder.
I don't have my copy of Burke's Peerage* immediately to hand, so I can't advise you how a hereditary title is passed on, upon the noble Lord being despatched to the great hereafter.

Re: Who

There should be a place called Lord Chalnot Pass.
