There has been a lot of casual talk about censoring FB etc... I don't think it is actually possible to make it not be a cess pool as soon as politics come up. As far as vaccines are concerned, FB is probably the worst place to get information.
When Facebook serves me my platter of adorable nieces and nephews and outrage clickables, they are using an algorithm to get my eyes. They are censoring what I see to the end of hooking me in. If they keep showing my Uncles pictures from Pocono Motor Speedway, I might just wander outside and run my chainsaw or something. If they get me super pissed off, I might just stick around. Is there any reasonable suggestion for how the algorithm will keep feeding the poor starving children of Silicon Valley without assisting in cultural suicide? TBF not clicking appears helpful for getting rid of stuff designed to wind people up, but this doesn't assist aging baby-boomers attempting to balance inquiry vs absurdity.
I'm sure giving government the keys to Facebook is a terrible idea. Mark Zuckerberg's toy and Mark himself are pretty terrible as well though so I understand the impulse.

In advanced technical articles, AI is effectively writing articles and code. One need only provide an outline. Then AI writes so well that, in one test, only 51%, who know it might be written by AI, could predict it was written by AI.
But a major difference. That company licenses their software only to companies and institutions that are credible and honest. Those institutions must say and limit use of that AI software to specific tasks.l Since AI could easily flood the internet with disinformation.
If only 51% of educated people in that test could tell the difference, then what happens when potential Nazis, KKK, White Supremacists, and other Trump supporters only read a tidal wave of disinformation?
So those AI companies are being careful who they provide their services to.
FB does not care. Zuckerberg is a classic MBA. His only purpose is to enrich himself at the expense of all others. (Also called communism.) No wonder it took an attack on the Capitol and the Big Lie to finally get Zuckerberg to admit / perform his obligations as a responsible (ethical) corporation.
I have never had any dealings with FB. That is one service I have always regarded as dangerous and irresponsible. As well as a cesspool of disinformation. But FB still makes connections to my computer - when I go elsewhere and when I want no FB connections. I constantly disconnect FB at every opportunity.
Of those many connections that I do not know who it is, I can only suspect some are FB. Because that company has always been a pariah.

That doesn't sound much like Marx & Engels.

Either does Nazism. And that also was a socialist party.
Marx believed society is divided into conflicting classes: the bourgeoisie (owners of the factories) and the proletariat(workers). Socialism was about reducing the Gini coefficient. An admirable concept - more sharing of the wealth. That is what happened to America throughout the center 20th century. A Gini coefficient fell as things such as unions and innovation made America great.
What does the other thing, also called communism, do? Increases a Gini coefficient. As socialism breaks down into communism, everyone works for the benefit of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. The Gini coefficient increases. Even explains super computers monitoring all citizens in China.
Does not matter if apples are called communism and oranges are called communism. The same word means two completely different things. Communism, as it exists today, is about keeping workers in line to enrich top management - the Central Committee. In the past decade, Xi has gone extremely communist. Communism today has little in common with communism of the early 20th Century. So much so that they are two completely different words.
Marx advocated classless society (communism) that did not contain systematic forms of alienation. Communism today is about protecting the elite - protecting that systematic alienation. Same word with multiple meanings.
Never make a conclusion from word association. What only matters are the paragraphs and books behind the meaning of two different words - communism and communism.

Nova is again playing their science article on disinformation. Citing Facebook as a perfect example of the problem. Even citing FB's desire for profits over responsible product as part of the problem. Title is "Why Misinformation Matters". Demonstrates how people are so easily manipulated using emotions (like child). Even demonstrates how dogs and monkeys are not so easily manipulated like a child can be.
Transcript and further airings are listed here. The science of misinformation is demonstrated by experiements. The piece is for adults who think like adults. Not like children who even believe the Big Lie.

I like emotions. They make life spicy.

What only matters are the paragraphs and books behind the meaning of two different words - communism and communism.
"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less." "The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things." "The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master—that's all."

So when honesty exposed your lies, your used insults to mask your lies. Hitler demonstrated same in "Mein Kampf". How curious that your reasoning is so similar to Hitler's and other demigods.
An honest man (a moderate) would cite facts with numbers. When confronted by same, you post humor that is not humorous. An honest American would then explain why that irrelevant fiction is relevant. Honest (patriotic) Americans are moderates. Enemies of America are extremist who automatically parrot what Fox News, Alex Jones, and other extremists order them to believe. So mockery justifies ignoring honesty?
NOVA has again rebroadcast in the science of misinformation; why Henry is so easily manipulated. NOVA demonstrates, using experiments. adults who are still children. Even monkeys and dogs are not so easily brainwashed as a child. Demonstrated by an experiment.
Why did you so hate America as to believe Saddam had WMDs. And refuse to become a patriotic American by opening citing (confessing) how and why those liars so easily manipulated you. An extremist will pretend he did not advocate the useless death of 5,000 American servicemen for no purpose. Where is your apology for advocating so many deaths? A moderate would. And extremist cannot. Otherwise he must learn how easily he can be scammed.
Honesty means you admit to being manipulated by extremism rhetoric. (Anti-American propaganda easily manipulates extremists - adults who are still children.)
How curious that you still do not disparage anti-American Nazis, White Supremacist, and KKI in Charlotte. We should then believe you are a patriotic American (a moderate) and not brainwashed?
An honest man would have answers that question about Jefferson Davis parish. You avoided that question since it exposes apparent Louisiana racism. Hate is another parameter in the inventory of extremism. Condemning the existence of that name - a classic example of ant-American rhetoric - is just too hard for an anti-American. One who is not a patriot - is not a moderate.
Humpty Dumpty used to deny what the Sec of State, the Attorney General, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs were trying to avert. A coup by someone loved by anti-Americans who ignore facts: a Trump supporter. They feared and worked to avert a coup. Only extremists (anti-Americans) would have made that possible.
Too many facts. No problem, Extremist ignore all facts. Only moderates consider facts before having a conclusion. How thick is that anti-American shell that you live in?
Everything here is based in facts - well published and well understood. All we need to ask how anti-American Henry was as to not admit he is easily scammed - ie Saddam did not have WMDs. Since he cannot deny reality, he discusses fiction: Humpty Dumpty. Only anti-Americans do not apologize for that lie - and Jefferson Davis parish. In your face Henry - because you would not even answer the damning question about Jefferson Davis parish - as expected.
Try to reply as an adult - by citing facts and not your emotions. Humpty Dumpty is irrelevant to an adult thinking like an adult.

He cannot deal with reality. So he mocks and demeans. As his idol Trump does. Classic example of a adult will automatically believe what he reads on FB.
NOVA is rebroadcasting the Science of Misonformation. It explains why Henry is the way he is.

Idk wtf that second pic is...
But that first one seems perfectly cromulent.

Those pictures demonstrate what one does when he cannot deal with reality. Trump does that due to a 30 second attention span. And because such posts inspire the greatest ant-Americans; to even attack a Reichstag or Capitol.
Henry constantly posts insults. That is what an adult, who is still a child, does to be popular on the playground. Proof that he cannot dispute accusations that illustrate who he is.
Moderates learn facts long before making conclusions. We can almost always predict what he will post. Because he is so extremist. He routinely parrots Trump lies. And, of course, he always posts insults. As Hitler also told his followers (extremists) to do.
So extremist as to even misspell my name. How hard can two letters be?

Is FB just another potential name for Comcast? Even the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) is now called Comcast. But Comcast doesn't make dic rockets (yet).
Did anyone also forget how to spell FB? For seom, those two letter words can be challenging.

No no no, Facebook is the best place to get information. No crawling the web, facebook has all the information you need to match any preconceived notion you have. It's all there like a supermarket of information canned, frozen, or fresh, maybe even a premixed blend that suits your fancy if you're still molding your notions.
Always free parking and S&H Green stamps on Tuesdays.
