Old Henry Ford

Old Henry Ford really didn't care much for cars, when they replaced the Model T with the (second) Model A, he didn't know how to drive it, he had to ride shotgun in the first one off the line. But what he did know is the exact changes to the plant and process, where all the pieces were coming from, and exactly what it cost to build... to the penny.
Old Henry was such a control freak if he saw a boat he liked he wanted to own the company that built it. Like that plane? Buy an airport and a bunch of them. To his credit he made everything he got involved in run smoother and more efficiently, except Fordlandia and that was a bad bet from the gitgo. If Old Henry were alive today, when the subject of space flight came up he'd say been there, done that. I'd bet the farm on it.
Far from a saint, but a remarkable man nonetheless.
