Looks like it's pretty early.

It's a shady spot part way out of a ravine. It was probably 9:30am.

What, the trains don't run anymore? Or are they masochists?

I want to see Patagonia but not like that!

Almost time to pull that front wheel and put the ski on. Three inches in Brattleboro, two inches in Springfield, MA.

We had our heater on for two days, so that was interesting. Back to A/C now, though.

Sposed to warm up this week.
The weatherbunny said Sat's & Sun 's highs should be in the low-to-mid 70s.
So, I will be busy top-down cruising, and I will be doing that all day.

Some locals filmed one of our Binghamton area rides. They do an Enduro Series race here. Aquaterra Park is on the old Innsbruck USA ski slope where my uncle moved snow back in the day.

If you push a bike with no rider it's not like slapping your horse on the ass and he trots away to do horsey things. No, a bike sooner or later falls over in a separation anxiety attack. This is the pattern from doing that 800 times.

Well that looks pretty neat, I thought it was a tuft of hair.

I love how the paths are all fluid and "fair," to use a boatbuilding term, up until the very end, and then the front wheel flails around in a jerky movement as the bike crashes.

I think if I saw this lock on a bike I would think it 's a joke. My second thought would to get away as far as possible... quickly.

Yesterday's ride was nice and it was muddy. Here we are in the driveway just before I hosed them off.

We rode around Banner Forest and it has lots of trails.
Here's one named after Hopkin's brother:
This is on Banner Forest Road (the trail name, no motorized vehicles, just hikers, bikers, and horses). A perfect day for a ride.
The bracken fern in the foreground is deciduous and it's past the end of the season for them. They do offer nice contrast to the green on a day like this.
WTF.
Trail name checks out.
