I was going to Index to find the active threads but this morning it reset and I had no list after posting on one thread.Any tips?

I seem to have the opposite problem to everyone else. I usually look in here on my iPad (mebbe it would help if ppl said which device they’re using?) and click on “active threads” to see the news. A for me, boardhost never marks any of the posts I’ve read or commented on as read, I have to tap on “mark all as read” when I’ve finished looking at posts.

I flip back and forth from the mobile site to the desk top version on my phone, using Chrome.

I find that I look at the post dates to see if anything is new.

Maybe we need a chit chat forum or sub forum for small talk, and in there, start lots of new threads.

Isn’t that what Nothingland is for? Or Home Base? Have at it (varlet!).

It's easier for me to use it on an actual PC. I can right click forums and open them in new tabs, and then go through the threads in each forum from their. Much easier to be sure I saw everything that way. The phone is a little tricky. I'm going into the desktop version in my phone the most, but maybe I should give the mobile version another chance. I don't expect that I will be posting pictures when accessing from my phone, but it's fairly simple when doing it from a PC.

I still click on the Monkey when I want to go back to the index.
The "mark all as read" is too damn close to the "most active."
Can't use smilies because that triggers recapcha.
Making a post with a picture, can't use preview because you have to prove your not a robot, then when you post after making no changes to the preview, you have to click on buses/crosswalks/cars again.

It gets better.

I think I've only been captcha'd twice today. It's kind of like when the tap/faucet stops dripping -nice but you worry about what kind of hell is about to ensue.....

You were right, I posted in the wee hours and again this evening, pictures, smilies, previewed and posted replies, and new topics. Wasn't challenged once.

We'll see what happens after I release the site owners children.
