Thanks and hopefully you have this sorted.

Excellent, even though they don't appreciate what you did for them you're a good Do-Bee.
Watch out for those lady bee drivers...

Jim, why don't you just use Chrome browser and save all the bullshit?

Re: BEES, what's the buzz, honey

I guess the honey gatherers were made of stronger stuff but crushing the bees to get the honey is dirty pool.

This usually happens when they are coming back in loaded with nectar or pollen.Kind of like the controlled crash landing on an aircraft carrier. Spun out 90 pounds of honey last week, got to pick up bottles and make new labels.

Bruce asks: "Jim, why don't you just use Chrome browser and save all the bullshit?"
I think I have explained five times or more that Google will not accept my user name and password, i.e., I can lurk, but I can not log in.
I can see the pics, but there is no comment box.
I tried all the things suggested by 3 or 5 folks here and none worked, including the "forgot" routine.
If you have another one, already offered or not, I will try it.
I have thought about starting a new membership.

my guess is that in his Chrome browser, he's not logged into the cellar, and therefore can not post.

Hey everybody!  Check out the crazy person!

wow.

I've dug out similarly shaped nests, chronicled elsewhere, but with WAY MORE fear and trepidation.  And chemicals.  The wetsuit armor is f*cking genius.

the lack of chemicals is not.  You could use that thing as a spare wheel in an emergency.

It looks like it is wearing a loupe.
I don't think that is a honey bee, but I could be wrong.

The water droplets make him/her look distorted and lopsided.
I agree, not a honeybee, no idea what it is though.

Bee (all insects in fact) have shown us ever deeper ranges of physiology and psychology with every passing year.
"What a way to go!" sounds shallow and crass but Ma Nature came up with that for a reason.
