See the rocks on the outside window ledge? They're former Pet Rocks from around GB who have broken the yoke of oppression and made there way to Easdale.
They're hoping Limey will help them establish a colony of free rocks. On a quiet night you can hear their battle cry, "Rock On".
I suggest you don't oppose them in their quest because...
They'll stone you when you're trying to be so good.
They'll stone you just like they said they would.
They'll stone you when you're trying to go home.
And they'll stone you when you're there all alone.
But I would not feel so all alone.
Everybody must get stoned.

That's a great shot.

What is perhaps not clear is that this was the breakwater which kept our harbour relatively safe. Until Storm Aiden it was wide enough to drive a digger and dump truck along. It has been totally washed away.

Is that cottage in trouble?

No, the perspective is pretty confusing in this pic. The line of three cottages is 40 feet or so south west-ish of the shore line above the ferry slipway. The dark horizontal line in the middle of the grey stone is in fact the harbour, but you can't see it from this elevation.
The storm covered the slipway in shingle and swept a lot of it into the harbour.
Here's a little video which may or may not make things clearer. My photo was taken from the top left hand corner of that letter E made of sea defences that you see just north east of the harbour mouth in the still at the start of the video.

Yeah that shot is a lot clearer.

At 4:57 the camera pans across a couple boats but in the immediate foreground there's a chain. It looks huge but that just may be perspective.

It is far bigger than those boats may require. The links are around 8 inches long each. Will take a pic today if I remember and the tide is out.
