this is what you get when you cross a sadist with a camera.

These guys all fired up on RedBull or Monster and adrenaline are doing crazy shit.
Loops in the air and landing on a fairly steep downslope is not too bad but landing on this shit would take skin off pretty fast if you screw up.
But the thing that make me clench is riding off a roof or top of stairs and landing on flat concrete.
I don't see how they keep the wheels round and spine uncompressed.
This doesn't look all that comfy and probably raise hell with your sex life.
Here's a lot of bike and butt abuse...

I've been riding continuously. Well, that came out wrong. My bike commute continues, even through a few snow days here. It's been pretty cold and when I got home the other day, I used my non contact laser thermometer to measure the temperature of my fingertips after I got home--56 degrees. That's cold, even when I was using my best waterproof windproof neoprene gloves. Frigid.
Someday, I'm gonna have to get the heater on the bike fixed. The only warm parts are my thighs.

You're a plutton for gunishment.
If warming blood can't get down to your fingers how will it get up to your brain?
Offline
Blood flow shifts to vital organs away from the extremities in the cold.

Was that 56 or minus 56? F or C?
Offline
Well, he didn't mention the fingers breaking off (-56 degrees F), or smelling like cooking meat(56 degrees C or 132 degrees F(!)), so what do ya think?

The past couple winters Americans have proven the brain is not a vital organ.
An Ice bike, the picture says Calgary but the running boards say Buffalo...

Today I packed my coat in my luggage for my ride home!
It was lovely! 50 degrees, no real wind, no rain, NO COAT!
I'll switch it up for awhile cause it's still cold/wet/dark in the morning but the afternoons might be nicer and nicer.

That's awesome!

We planned another trip to NC for mountain biking with the lads. The guy who actually organized everything just had major surgery... I may need younger friends.

I LIKE IT!
I don't have a multi-modal transportation commute, so this particular rig isn't appealing on its main feature. But that feature looks like an out-of-the-park home run. I like the little ear-wheels on the steering stem used to dolly it in folded state. Very cool.

More Brompton, more love.
