    On a hike, Twil and I walked past a tall dead tree, hollowed out and charred on the inside. It was large enough for us to fit in and we did and there are pictures, somewhere.

    That should have been where that pole is.
    Autocorrect, yeah that's it, blame technology screwing up.
    I noticed the bracket for the third wire looks like it mounts to the top crossbar but has been pulled off.
    I don't remember ever seeing one like that. But sorry I spoiled your CA fires joke,

    I have a bunch of those National Geographics in the attic. Not that old, post WWII, but the 40's and 50's had lots of brown boobs.
