    Yeah, turbos are cool as are centrifugal and vane type.
    But for me the roots type like the GMCs is the way to go.
    It's as much the stimulation from the sound and vibration as the low end boost.

    I miss hearing the four barrel open up, with that slightest hesitation, the sound of the increase in airflow, and that little puff of fuel smoke out the pipe...

    I know what you mean, fuel injection is more efficient, less waste, better mileage, yada yada yada, but it doesn't have the song in the ear. Still sucking the same amount of air but it sounded better through the venturis.

    I know we probably talked about this before, but can you imagine being a contractor on this subdivision-- installing identical electrical, plumbing, and HVAC into 587 little castles that any normal person immediately realizes nobody is ever going to buy?

    [actually read the article]

    It's in Turkey, and they abandoned the construction before a single house was actually in a livable state (my guess is no running water, since there are power lines in the pictures, but the contractors' tools would need that, so possibly the houses aren't actually hooked up to the lines.)

    The house would be wired before any interior walls are done.
    If the site is abandoned the electric supplier probably shut it down anyway.
