Re: Motorcycles and other two wheel powered vehicles

Is it too late to ask about Jerry cans?
All of the many I've had had those screw-in flexible spouts that had to have the vent hole just right.
Then they still leaked.

Re: Motorcycles and other two wheel powered vehicles

Harley donated the bike, don't know who paid the painter if at all, but having it parked in Sturgis which is 1,108 miles from Seattle, 1,181 miles from Portland, and 1,377 miles from San Francisco is silly.

Electric bike...

I've seen this done with Trikes(servicar) but they'll actually tow a customers car if need be too.
But hadn't seen this bike with training wheel setup.

Re: Motorcycles and other two wheel powered vehicles

It seems like bikes should be the low hanging fruit in electric conversion. Harley is saying they're doing it. Puts me in mind of the old Battlestar Galactica series, I seem to remember a nuclear powered bike.

Re: Motorcycles and other two wheel powered vehicles

To go electric you'd have to install a powerful stereo to play the potato potato potato recording.

This is Leno's 1940 Indian he got hurt on. At least I think it's the one.

Re: Motorcycles and other two wheel powered vehicles

Leno got seriously burnt from a mistake while working on a fuel line for his 1907 steam-powered car

very dangerous hobby it turns out

Re: Motorcycles and other two wheel powered vehicles

Steam is no joke. I saw a "yuge" tractor for sale locally super cool but what the hell are you gonna do with it.

Re: Motorcycles and other two wheel powered vehicles

Leno was being careless, working on the fuel line it's impossible not to get some spots here and there being careful. Get a little lax and it goes everywhere. Being petroleum it sticks, then if it accidentally ignites you've got a big problem instead of a scare. I read he was working under the machine so triple hard to quick exit and he burned his face so he got splashed or he was laying on something that did.

I read it was an Indian and the unmarked cable was down low which made it a sudden stop with no seatbelt..
