So I saw my financial adviser …

… and I said “I’m bored with paying the mortgage and I want to buy a new caravan*, but I can’t see how to do it without affecting my future income’, and she said ….. “this and that and do this and if we and then you can pay off the mortgage and buy the caravan!”. Now. And still have the future income.
This is SUCH SPIFFING GOOD NEWS.
So I just had to share.


* yes, I fear the writing is on the wall for my Fanny.

Financial advisors are one of those things that I always avoided, because why pays somebody a fair amount of money to tell you you need to tighten your belt and save more?

But I'm glad we hired one a few years ago.  I think meeting with one every 5 years or so is a good idea. They can sometimes have tricks you haven't thought of.  Or remind you of things you should take advantage of.

I'm glad you can afford a Fanny.
