Jeremy Irons Castle
Looking at the pictures of the castle Irons saved, when I saw this picture I thought that's crazy.
Water, soap, steps... recipe for disaster But the tapestry? Swag? Cloth wrapped around that beam, is a lifesaver.
Or could be. I think it was intentional.
Plus if you consistently use one end climbing in, and the other end climbing out, you only have to launder one end.
