    Apparently there is quite an industry around doomsday. A little commitment to the society they're hiding from might be money better spent. As individuals we should all do some sensible disaster planning but this looks to be a bridge too far. In the end, I'm not sure how valuable these money guys will be to the guys with guns hired to protect them. I imagine it was a fun book to write.

    I like your take on a little commitment. 
    When the plane crashes, the folks in first class die about the same time as those in the back.

    Nuclear missile silos are not longer on the market.  The cold war restarted years ago.  New nuclear missiles are are reclaiming Doomsday shelters.
