[edit before posting] Ironically, I just got my second recaptcha and this time it wasn't just a tick it was two screens eliminating cars and traffic lights

It's possible we are confusing the system by having such an active board, with so many posting so quickly after registration? Hoping the recaptcha triggers will die down soon.

My first post this morning I got the whole rigamarole, just now not even the recaptcha box. I guess that it is only once a day.

I haven't needed to do any of that since the first day. I'm in Chrome and asked Chrome to remember my password. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I haven't had to do a single recaptcha yet. If that's because I'm the admin, then it indicates that it is checking cookies for ID, and seeing who has posted here before, etc--meaning it should hopefully stop. It could also be a setting in your personal cookies, like if you're always set to incognito browsing, etc.

Ok - so posting / editing within 30 seconds seems to trigger it still.

If I just press go back and wait out the 30 seconds, it still does the captcha - but when I abandoned the reply and went back into the thread to post again it let me post without a captcha

But - even if you don't try to press submit within the 30 seconds, if you start writing your reply within 30 seconds it still seems to trigger it
