What's more political than oil, it's been a major player in national and international politics forever. Before petroleum it was whale oil, olive oil, and a dozen others.
But right now I'm thinking of home heating oil which is diesel fuel dyed blue.

I was digging through my desk and came up with a bunch of old receipts. I had already charted the 2013 up in a couple places but now I could fill in most of 1996 to 2013.
I think it might amaze, amuse, or annoy some so I condensed just the date and price per gallon in to one sheet.
