Biden had the worst senior moment of his life.  His staff must have known what was coming.

Which creates the question.  Are they that oblivious?  Or did they assume no other options existed?

Well reported is what was expected.  Trump lied repeatedly.  But he does not care.  Since making bogus accusations  (ie tweets) excites the emotions of supporters.  And cannot be exposed in soundbite replies.  Since honesty (reality) takes paragraphs to explain.  Cannot happen in a forum such as this.
 

Anyone who is informed by honest sources knows exactly who surrendered to the Taliban.  Trump.  He was so dumb as to even tell them how quickly the Americans would get out.  Ignored the Generals who said we could not get out that fast.  Anyone who is not educated by anti-American extremists knows this.

And knows that Trump then said he was smarter than the Generals.  Another fact that gets ignored when extremist lies are somehow honesty.

Biden then got an extension from the Taliban.  Because the military needed time to sabotage something approaching $1 billion of military equipment - helicopter, tanks, munitions, etc.  Taliban said that is it.  No more extensions.  Or thousands of American soldiers would be taken prisoner.  We never expected the Afghan army to collapse even faster than the South Vietnamese army.  It turned into a rout.

I just read about a new company trying to grow into a major defense contractor.  They need Chinooks for their product development.  Britain finally offered to sell them one. They are talking to the Taliban. Who have many such aircraft.  Thanks to the dumbass Trump.  Praised by extremists who somehow know.  But forget to first learn facts.

Nixon also surrendered to N Vietnam.  Then Ford got stuck with a resulting disaster.  Many extremists also forget that.  Because Nixon was their baby.  He also could do no wrong.  Because he lied constantly.  We are supposed to learn from history.

I watched the first hour and both men appeared as I expected they would.
Trump spewing whatever came to mind, mostly lies, like a carnival barker.
Biden slower, more thoughtful, mostly truthful, stumbling on a couple words as most people who stutter do.
The next day the press and pundits were screaming about Biden's failure.
I guess the people never listened to their grandparents. 
Wisdom comes slowly and is dispensed slowly. Bullshit comes in torrents.
The Klan will rise again, women will be subjected to cradle to grave control. Children will be taught myths. The end is neigh.

Just because I come up with something humorous doesn't mean I subscribe to it. I'm an Independent and reserve judgement until election day.  After Trump's felony convictions, polls indicated the while only about 15% of Republicans changed their minds about him, 49% of Independents did. Jumping to conclusions about me indicates that you're afraid, you're very afraid and playing right into Trump's hands by alienating potential allies... the Independents.
