This coming Sunday, July 21, same times, same place. Don't be intimidated if you've never joined before.... the "regulars" are super chill/drunk/stoned/... and there's often live music or house tours or pictures off the deck...

A play on words for time versus money.
Quarter - Quarterly
Two bits - Two bitsly
Shave and a haircut, two bits.
Two bits = Quarter
From the Spanish 8 Reales coin on which the American dollar coin was based. Both circulated freely in this country’s early years. There were fractional coins of 1, 2, and 4 Real(es); but, when smaller denominations were scarce, they actually cut the 8 Reales coin in half, quarters or eighths calling the pieces “bits” and the term stuck. Pirate money, pieces of eight with each 1/8 fraction being called a bit equaling 1 Real or 12-1/2 cents.
