RF yesterday ... Dexter-Ann Arbor is a half marathon.
Surprisingly, I feel no pain or stiffness today at all. I was expecting to be dead. waiting for the shit to hit the fan tomorrow.....

I never did get sore or stiff! So odd. I hurt like hell after my first 9-mile run in training. But I did train so.... maybe it paid off.... SOOOOOO glad my evenings can now be something other than sitting here not wanting to go for my run followed by going for my run

How about a full marathon next?

And so the escalation began.

One look at that face says "No way".
And then another question. Where is everyone?

Oh, no sound? everyone was to the sides cheering. Except the Race Director, who left his post to come and cheer me over the line and take pictures to share with our mutual parkrun friends.
I am super slow, I am not a runner. But I set my sights on a goal and I achieved it. Faster than I needed to or thought I could.
What a your goal with this comment?

52 people finished after me and I don't know how many did not finish because they were beaten by the time constraint.
Now how about a picture of all y'all RFN? Which is the point. Fellar Dwellars... what do you look like RFN ...I mean ...you've got to look better than that, right?

This was last Friday at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Guess what band we are going to see?
Offline
Indeed!
If you see a show at the Sphere, get seats in the 400 level, in the middle. That way, you don't have to look behind you to see all of the screen. The experience is worth it, if it's a band you like.

I saw the Grateful Dead in Edinburgh in the early 80's..one of the worst bands I have ever seen in my life
one of the very few gigs I have ever left early during a show
Considered therapy after seeing them

Ha! I never did get to see the Grateful Dead in Edinburgh or anywhere else but I have seen Bill Nelson play in the city. I don't recall if he was playing as part of a band or if it was listed as a solo gig - it definitely wasn't with Be-Bop Deluxe though.

I went to go listen to the Edinburgh show on 9/30/1981, to see just how bad it was. But had forgotten about the recent Internet Archive data breach. and that the site is down until they secure it. so Relisten doesn't work either.
Hackers are the worst.
