I initially mis-read that as in due course you would find an empty surface to store the thing when my eyes first fell on the post without reading it.
Sounds like fun though. The scoutmaster in my son's old troop would bring a metal detector on camping trips and increase our tent stake inventory.

I have more room for implement sway in the three point hitch now. The rear tire treads had been chewed up a little because the previous owners left the turn-buckles loose while doing some kind of field work.
Right now we're fighting a losing battle with mice which I hope never get a taste for wiring.

I think you’re referring to the back blade.
We have mouse issues around the barn and elsewhere because we have chickens.

OK, I circled it and am having a hard time getting the ink off my monitor.
I am talking about what looks like a solid steel wedge about 18"x18"x10" attached to the tree point hitch and held on to the blade frame by a hefty nut. It has some kind of rotating metal strap on top and rectangular plug in its end.
One last descriptor is that it appears to be between the tires and an optical illusion aligns it with the wheel hubs.
I would also like to know how to circle things on Cellar pics.

Ah gotcha. The nut is the top of the pivot for the blade. The rectangular box is where the top bar is welded to the body of the blade.
I think if you download the pic you can edit it in most programs but I’m the last guy to give advice on ever changing tech.

I'm picking up a set of pallet forks sized for my Kubota. I'll be doing a lot of lifting with the cabin project so I'm going to try to protect my back.

We seem to have taken care of the ants. There are still a few around, but they are mostly gone. I think the rain was helping to drive them inside, and that has tapered off a bit.
The pallet forks should be useful. Once you have them, you'll be seeing things all over the place that need lifting. When I got my leaf blower, it's amazing the number of non-leaf applications I have found for that.

I'm glad your ants calmed down. Pests really mess with our false sense of control. 
Besides construction, I have some ideas around handling logs for firewood and saw-milling. Some folks palletize their firewood to reduce stacking but I'm not sure that's really all that efficient.

I guess I should update that the pallet forks kick ass. I was able to move 6-8 4x8 sheets of 23/32 Advantek at a time and lift them on to the deck for gluing and nailing.
