I don't think that anybody here is going to use your credentials for nefarious purposes. tw, and Diaphone JIm were not asking for your name or personal information.

IC please answer the question.

What tpye education? And both in America and elsewhere? How do they compare? Students? Administration? What is taught?
That is the question.

That line of questioning is questionable.
Preferred are deep philosophical questions like… Ginger or Mary Ann?

I feel strangely confident I actually know who IC is. He'd definitely deny it, though, so no point in guessing.
My question, instead, is: can you remember how old you were, IC, when your sense of self-worth became tied to intellectual pursuits? Can you envision a life where you lose your intellectual abilities, and yet still have value in this world?

I'm not interested in stories about people you know. Philosophy about other people is nothing but politics; real philosophy is first, last, and always about the self. So I'm asking: what does it look like, for you, in a world where you personally are not able to demonstrate your intellect and receive the intellectual challenges you crave? Is it lonely?

You?
I’m old fashioned. For me it’s someone who’s a lady in public; but, a slut in bed. That means Mary Ann, definitely, in the morning; but, Ginger, definitely, in the evening, and either one or both in the afternoon for a nooner.
I prefer not to have my choices limited.

Human beings always have value: we're all created in the image of God.
Emotions say that. Science demonstrates logically that it is something completely different.
Philosophy too often makes conclusions only from emotions. That part of the brain what children use. Logic thinking comes from the other part that adults use. That means quantitative facts long before making any conclusion (or accusation).
Meanwhile it was a simple question that challenges or threatens no one.

I'll let you know when I get there.
This demonstrates either a lack of imagination, or a deflection to cover up fear. Which one sounds more accurate to you?

My goodness, you're a hostile, humourless soul.
Nope. She's a pretty nice actual human. Are you?

Have a laxative.
I'm just asking difficult questions, because thinking about difficult things is how we all become better people. It's okay if you're not ready to answer them.

Fair enough. By the way, I'm a mod here and I can see your IP address (and have declined, you'll note, to doxx you, because that's not something I condone.) But it also means that I know with complete confidence that you're not afraid of "pulling rank," you're just afraid that your considerable reputation will precede you and you'll be run out immediately.
At this point I feel confident you've shown enough of yourself here to be dropped by most without any backstory necessary. Others can decide to stop engaging or not, but I've done what I came to do for now, so I'm out, at least until you inevitably test the waters with some of your more abhorrent beliefs, at which point I'll ban you. Have fun yammering with Anon, who is only using you for his own shit-stirring purposes, and tw, who simply doesn't know any better and can't help himself.

I know exactly what I am doing. I have helped him cook himself.
It does not smell good.

I guess IC deleted his account?

It looks that way. I was waiting for it to “pull rank”.

Did the free market place of ideas just take another dump?

IC did a UT.
UT wasn’t facing being banned though. He was just spreading the gospel of Tesla and Elon Musk.
Is clear the meaning, IC must be known for pontificating on the the trinity of Tesla, Musk, and Trump.
Oh the humanity!

We may be small and struggling for activity, but I'll be damned if we're going to become a Nazi bar.

Well then, as a reward for your vigilance, I’ve deleted my reply to that “Have a laxative.” post he directed at you. Such items are always shit stirring.

Extremists are always quickly identified. Post their emotions justified by demeaning commentary. An adult contributes logically to a discussion. Does something positive. Is not popular by acting like the bully on a playground.
Discussion is about a topic; not about any person. Extremists want to personalize it with belittling commentary. Fail to grasp a difference between discussing a topic verses offensive recrimination.
"Have a laxative." A perfect example of a bully. He then thinks it is funny. Moderates know better.

A gentleman will say “Have a high colonic.” since laxatives can cause dependency.
