Continuing my obsession.....
I've noticed Grey (not Gray) is quite a popular name for Gen Z males. (I know/know of 3).   I've seen Blue and Azure.  Colo(u)r names have always been popular for the ladies (Scarlet, Violet, Ebony....)   I think it's trending ....but what color names should never be human names?  (And what would be awesome?)
I can't see Yellow every being a name anyone would want to go by or call their children.  Cream. nope.

I'm also not convinced Turquoise would be a good name

Purple would not be a good name.

I guess Amber and Ginger are pretty standard names that we don't think of as a color.

I've come across Indigos, but never a Henna.   I don't think the latter would make a good name.  I've also come across a Cyan.  Her middle name was Ida.  ok that bit was a lie.  Cyan was in the 11-12 range, so a teenager now.  I know there are other shades of blue I have come across used as names, but just can't remember which right now, beyond the obvious like Sky, Sapphire......
Khaki would not be a great name.  Or Brown. Umber.
I've met a couple of Sages, but always thought of the plant rather than the shade of green

I think that it is more like Sage as a wise person.

Oh.... I know a Navi too (female) pronounced Navy. It's possibly in honor of a relative name Navidad although that is denied

Mint would not be a great name.
If you were called Orange, at least the kids in  the playground would struggle to come up with nasty rhymes about you (like Pooey Louis, Hairy Mary, Fat Pat etc

Periwinkle would be an unfortunate name, I think -even though I really like the color.
Translucent might work quite well as a name.....
