Re: Gaza, the obvious

Don’t fret, they’re all going to be OK now, the powers that be are paying them lip service.

Re: Gaza, the obvious

I have been surprised by the lack of interest in my post above.
I think that the source is believable and reports a difference in deaths of ten times: c. 60,000 vs c. 600,000.

It's just news burnout.

Re: Gaza, the obvious

Well, you titled it “…the obvious.”

People aren’t much interested in discussing the obvious.

They’d probably rather discuss the weather since it at least is always changing.

Re: Gaza, the obvious

We all saw contempt that most people had even for the American serviceman.  Saddam's WMDs.  Facts and numbers obviously said WMDs did not exist.  Then extremist violated basic concepts from Sze Tsu 2,500 year old book "Art of War".  To intentionally create a massive rebellion in Iraq against evil Americans. Learn what

Then we massacred 5,000 American servicemen in Iraq for no purpose.

How many apologize to American servicemen for listening to anti-Americans.  Leaders who were extremists - and liars.  No different from Richard Nixon.

Even today, those with contempt for the American servicemen do not apologize for sending them on a lie.

Or one simply remembers Stanley Milgram's

Where some saw a victim plastered to a glass window.  Begging for torture to end.  Some actually thought they might have killed him.  None asked, when leaving, if he was alright.  Those were Americans.  Educated Americans.

Who also fully loved and condoned torture and waterboarding in Guantanamo.  We now know of the over 800 tortured there, only 50 and maybe as few as five, were actually guilty.   Americans intentionally violated Six Amendment Constitutional rights to operate a concentration camp.  How many Americans are so Nazi like as to not even apologized before so hating humanity; not admit how evil they were.

How many of maybe 100 American serviceman were punished for the

 One?

Gaza is similar extremists doing what Nazis did in late 1930s and 1940s.  Germans condoned those actions for the same reason so many American condon ethnic cleansing in Gaza.  Many Germans even denied nearby reality (concentration camps) using confirmation bias.

A new Israeli law that says Israelis can now steal all West Bank land from the Palestinians.  Also approved of by Americans.  Doing so by remaining in denial or ignorance.

How many Americans are now so Nazi as to not even learn about that new Israeli law?

How many, in the old Cellar, so hated Americans servicemen and Iraqis as to believe obvious right wing extremist lies about Saddam's WMDs?  I expect most to ignore what they do not want to admit.
