Those are really nice despite the vintage.

You're slipping HM, finger prints on the gold tsk tsk.
Ha, just kidding, beautiful as usual, both design and execution.

I love the addition of wire sculpting into your already formidable talents. Very cool.

A cicada-wing inspired one:

I made and cut a pattern using a Silhouette Portrait, then made a simple icosahedron.

You lie, there's no such thing as a SIMPLE icosahedron.
So no cicadas were harmed in the creation of this art.

I know they're fragile and would all be crushed, but I can't help imagining a ball pit full of Happy Monkey -hedrons that I could dive into like Scrooge McDuck.

Not even an option unfortunately. Weather turned cool, and the critters hit the snooze button. I've only seen one nymph and a couple husks.

We have one telephone pole that's about 3 blocks away, and there must be a steam pipe or something running under it because there were scores of them on a pile of sticks in the nearby gutter, in the grass, and all over the pole. None to be seen anywhere else.

I can believe it, I can think of occasions where the promise and smell of sex made me forget how cold my environment was... until later.

I got a CMYK cube; it's sort of cool. And it inspired me to buy some color filters, and make a CMYK ball.
(both misnomers; there's no K in either)
Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow panels make Red, Green, and Blue when combined.
(K in CMYK stands for "key" and means blacK, in printing terms)
