Actually, there was already another spammer on the banned user list, so mine wasn't the first ban. So we are doubly legit.
One thing that's interesting is that I saw two spam posts by this new person. I deleted the first one, then banned the user, and then couldn't find the other post to delete. It looks like when a user is no longer registered, their posts go poof. Which I seem to recall happening when Big Sarge left. That's too bad.

S'funny, 'cos I thought I banned him. Or I deleted a (the?) post and he'd already gone. I think glatt and I must have been operating at the same time or something ....
But it seems you can't report a post directly to the mods with a click request here, which is a shame.
