Re: Birdies... tit willow... tit willow... tit willow

Humans being full of ourselves judge and grade all God's creatures.
Birds come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Some are rated cute, some noble, and so on.
Pigeons are street trash for the most part, but a few look more like courtesans.
Yep, Jacobins look like Vegas hookers...

Yesterday the birdsong began to get serious during our morning ski.

He's wearing a Nudie suit.

I doubt he could afford a nudie suit.

Osprey are badass birds, think submarine hunters...

I love little birdies they're all so beautiful. Beauty is subjective, eye of the beholder they say.
I don't care whose eye, the Great Potoo is butt ugly.

A nice song? Sounded more like braying than singing.

Re: Birdies... tit willow... tit willow... tit willow

Did he use George Eastman's first camera to take that pic?

Re: Birdies... tit willow... tit willow... tit willow

It is interesting that almost every language has its own way of saying "cock-a-doodle-doo."
What I wonder is why, with all the different breeds and kinds of chicken all over the world, the roosters all sound pretty much the same.
I have more questions about chickens for future posts.

No a cell phone through a wet window at crows across the street and it came out better than cherry blossoms.

Wouldn't their anatomy govern their voice?
So roosters all go cock-a-doodle do, and hens go any-cock-will-do.

It did come out better than cherry blossoms.  LOL!

Also, don't talk about Griff's pic.

Shit man, he's standing right there!

When I saw these birds in Norway, I figured they had to be corvids and I'm pretty sure I found them on Wiki's list of birds for that country...

West coast Acorn Woodpeckers are constantly moving the nuts to smaller holes as they dry out.

Both those pic links go to "postimages.com" webpage with no specific pic info.

You're the one that can't see images, and apparently, is unwilling to do anything about it except repeat the problem.

I, and others, have tried to help, but the info you provide is so convoluted I can't follow you.

How in the hell did you ever come up with the process you use to look at the pics?  Nothing I could see would be worth going through that process.  Not even porn.

Did I say that before?  You're rubbing off on me, I suppose.

Re: Birdies... tit willow... tit willow... tit willow

I looked back through the thread to see if I could find the "picture links" DJ has referred to.  I couldn't find anything obvious, in my brief search.  Which makes me wonder if the two PICTURES we all see, the ones handsome Hooded Crows and the OCD Acorn Woodpeckers, render as *links* on his system, "picture links".  Because when I click on them, which I see as pictures, I, too, get taken to the website postimages.org and it just looks like a dum ol webpage, especially if I was expecting the link to take me to a picture of a bird.

Just thinkin out loud here.
