October 22, 2020: Not a Knot in a knot of Knots

By photographer Les Bunyan from the BBC web site: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-norfolk-54592215

These birds are knots, on their way south for the winter.  A record number have been sighted at the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) sanctuary at Snettisham in Norfolk, England.  But the are not all knots.  Can you spot the not-a-knots?  There are some orange-billed Oystercatchers in there...

Follow the BBC link for more amazing pictures by Mr. Bunyan.

We get loads of oystercatchers here. They eat ... worms. As far as I can tell.

Maybe the Oystercatchers are married to Knots, or were adopted by a Knot couple who couldn't tie little Knots.
