Mostly charcuterie boards, side tables, and epoxy ocean wave stuff.

It seems like a fun process. I'm glad you survived!

Thanks. It’s not foot’s hall closet level haha, but is pretty fun since each one comes out unique after hand-mixing the mica powder coloring.

Neat! Mr. Clod's made a couple of river tables, but never the kind that lets the epoxy spill over the edge like that during the process. I like the look!

So he knows the bubble elimination pain! Just got the beginnings of a slab flattening router sled setup, so a river table may be in the pipeline eventually.

Used to spend way too much time getting edges perfectly cleaned up, then a few spillover pieces sold instantly so I started just going that direction!

Thanks glatt!

That wave is a famous painting or engraving or some such aint it not?

And shouldn't it be going the other way?

Correct on both counts! (Alamy) It's a Japanese woodblock print by a guy named Hokusai, and either the drums have it printed backwards, or the jpeg has been reversed. Guess I did end up learning something from that art history class after all(amy)...

To be honest, just wow, that's fucking gorgeous!!
Stuff like this is fun to make because you aren't quite sure what it will look like.
You have a general idea but each is unique and sometimes a big surprise.

If anyone could take up woodworking during Covid and bang out such gorgeous stuff it would be you. I've seen a couple of video tutorials on the technique but I think your execution of it is the best I've seen.

Hey! That's me up there!

Excellent craftsmanship but I question the wisdom of cutting a solid post out of the house to put a fancy joint in it.
